CNC Turning Services

JeekRapid provides CNC turning services for custom shafts, bushings, sleeves, threaded adapters, fittings, and cylindrical housings in metal and engineering plastics. We support prototypes and production orders, with machining, finishing, and inspection requirements reviewed against your drawings before production.

Quality Assurance

ISO 9001:2015 quality management, with inspection requirements confirmed before production.

Precision Turning

Critical diameters, bores, threads, and runout reviewed against your drawing requirements.

In-House Workshop

In-house CNC turning for shafts, sleeves, bushings, fittings, and other custom components.

Prototypes & Production

Prototype and batch orders supported, with lead times confirmed for the part, quantity, and finish.

CNC Turned Parts We Machine

JeekRapid machines custom metal and plastic turned parts from CAD models and dimensioned drawings. Typical components include stepped shafts, locating pins, bushings, sleeves, spacers, threaded adapters, fittings, and cylindrical housings.

Parts can include internal bores, shoulders, grooves, and threads. For components with cross holes, wrench flats, or slots, we review the additional drilling or milling operations needed to complete the part.

CNC Turning Capabilities

Our CNC turning capabilities include external turning, facing, drilling, boring, grooving, and threading. We machine stepped diameters, internal bores, shoulders, and retaining-ring grooves according to the part drawing.

For parts with cross holes, wrench flats, or milled slots, we plan the additional operations needed to complete the geometry. Critical fits, thread specifications, and the alignment between bores and outside diameters are reviewed before machining.

CNC Turning Operations

External and Internal Turning

Machine outside diameters and internal cylindrical surfaces for shafts, sleeves, and mating components.

Facing

Machine flat end faces to establish part length, seating surfaces, and shoulders.

Grooving and Parting

Cut seal grooves, retaining-ring grooves, and thread reliefs, then separate finished components from bar stock.

Boring and Reaming

Enlarge or finish existing holes to achieve specified bore dimensions and surface requirements.

Drilling

Produce axial through holes and blind holes for fasteners, fluid passages, and further bore machining.

Threading

Produce internal and external threads to the specified thread standard, size, and fit requirements.

CNC Turning FAQs

CNC turning can process a variety of metal and plastic materials, including aluminum alloys, stainless steel, titanium alloys, brass, copper, engineering plastics, etc. Different materials are suitable for different applications, such as aluminum alloys for lightweight components, while stainless steel is suitable for parts with high corrosion resistance requirements.

The tolerance of turned parts can usually reach ±0.01mm or even higher. The specific accuracy depends on the material properties, tool type and machine tool performance.

CNC turning is mainly suitable for rotationally symmetrical parts, the workpiece rotates, and the tool cuts the material along a specific path; while CNC milling is suitable for complex 3D structures, the tool rotates, and the workpiece is usually fixed or moves a small amount.
