We provide flexible small batch aluminum extrusion services to meet the needs from prototype development to small-scale production. No matter how much your order is, we can ensure high quality and fast delivery.
Regular order delivery time is 7-10 working days, and expedited orders can be shortened to 5-7 working days. The specific time depends on the complexity and quantity of the order. Welcome to contact us for detailed time arrangements!
Custom Extrusion Services
If you need large quantities of extruded profiles cut to specific lengths, contacting a professional extrusion company directly is the best option. These companies usually focus on large-scale production, but are not very interested in small-volume orders unless you are their long-term customer. This makes it difficult to obtain prototype aluminum extrusions or small-volume plastic extrusions.
At JEEK, we work closely with reliable partners and focus on providing small-volume custom aluminum extrusion and plastic extrusion services. Regardless of the size of the order, we focus on high quality and on-time delivery, ensuring that each item is shipped after strict quality inspections. Whether you are developing a prototype or doing small-scale production, we can provide you with flexible and efficient solutions.
We have you covered!

What is Custom Extrusion?
Custom extrusion service is a processing service that designs and produces products of specific shapes or sizes according to customer needs. It uses customized molds to extrude metals, plastics and other materials. It is widely used in industrial parts, building profiles, automotive accessories and other fields to meet personalized functions, appearance or performance requirements. Among them, plastics and aluminum materials are more common in custom extrusion.
Customized plastic extrusion service is a processing technology that uses a mold to heat and soften thermoplastics (such as ABS, PVC, PC, PE, etc.) and then extrude them into a specific shape. The process includes mold design → raw material melting → extrusion molding → cooling and shaping → cutting and post-processing. Its features include:
Flexible customization: can produce pipes, profiles, sealing strips, etc. with special cross-sections and complex structures;
Widely used: used for automobile guide grooves, electronic housings, door and window frames, medical catheters, etc.;
Performance optimization: meet strength, sealing and other requirements through material selection (such as high temperature resistance, UV resistance) and structural design;
High efficiency and low cost: suitable for small and medium-sized batch production, low mold cost, and strong consistency of finished products.
Aluminum Extrusion Introduction
Aluminum extrusion is a molding process that forces aluminum to flow through the opening of a precision mold under high pressure and mold it into a continuous slender profile. The process can be compared to “metal version of pasta making”: just as dough is extruded through a mold to form noodles of different shapes, solid aluminum billets (usually preheated to 400-500℃) are driven by a 10,000-ton hydraulic press and are “extruded” into aluminum profiles with complex cross-sectional profiles through the molding holes of a special alloy steel mold (mainly H13 material) – from simple round tubes to precision structures with multiple chambers and reinforcing ribs.
The essential difference from manual extrusion of plasticine is that industrial-grade aluminum extrusion needs to break through the rigidity of the material: first, the aluminum is put into a thermoplastic state through precise temperature control, and then a hydraulic pressure of more than 15,000psi is applied to force the metal to produce plastic flow. The formed profile is quickly shaped by online quenching, which not only retains the complex geometric features given by the mold (accuracy can reach ±0.1mm), but also obtains excellent mechanical properties through the directional arrangement of metal fibers. This process is particularly suitable for manufacturing new energy vehicle battery trays, building curtain wall keels and other structural parts that have both lightweight and high load-bearing requirements. The development cost of a single set of molds is about 20,000 to 80,000 yuan, which is more suitable for mass production scenarios.
How does aluminum extrusion work?
The working principle of aluminum extrusion can be summarized as the following steps:
Heating the aluminum billet: The aluminum bar is heated to about 400-500°C to soften it and make it plastic.
Die forming: The aluminum billet is pushed into the customized die opening by a hydraulic press to force the material to flow and form into a preset cross-sectional shape.
Cooling and shaping: The extruded profile is quickly solidified by the cooling system (air cooling or water cooling) to maintain shape stability.
Finishing treatment: The profile is straightened, cut, and surface processed (such as oxidation, spraying) to finally obtain a product that meets the size and performance requirements.
Standard common thermosetting plastics
Thermosetting plastics are polymer materials that permanently solidify after being heated or chemically reacted. They will not melt or soften even if heated again. They generally have high heat resistance, excellent mechanical strength and good chemical stability, and are widely used in electronics, electrical, automotive, aerospace and other fields.
The above materials are mostly used in extreme environments or high-precision industrial fields.
Thermosetting plastic types | Special application scenarios and features |
---|---|
Polyimide (PI) | High-precision bearing cage (resistant to 400°C high temperature, used in aircraft engine lubrication systems) |
Polybenzoxazine (PBO) | 5G base station high frequency circuit board substrate (low dielectric loss) |
Urea-formaldehyde resin (UF) | Fast curing, low cost, complex texture |
Polybismaleimide (BMI) | Satellite antenna reflector substrate (anti-radiation in vacuum environment) |
Furan resin | Casting sand core adhesive (high casting surface finish) |
Xylok | Deep sea cable joint encapsulation (water pressure resistance > 50MPa, stable) |
Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) | Oil and gas tool sealing ring (corrosion resistant, high temperature resistant) |
Custom Aluminum Extrusion Profiles
Standard aluminum extrusions, such as aluminum channels or aluminum bars, are usually mass-produced by large extrusion plants, and if you need large quantities of standard profiles, it is more cost-effective to choose these suppliers.
However, for custom aluminum extrusions with non-standard shapes, Jeek may be a more ideal partner. We support small batch extrusion orders, prototype development, and small batch production, giving you the flexibility to test and optimize your design.
In addition to using custom molds to produce aluminum extrusions, we can also combine extrusion with other manufacturing processes such as CNC machining to directly produce the final parts that meet your needs. Especially for parts with a large number of consistent cross-sections, this approach not only improves production efficiency, but also effectively reduces costs.
Aluminum extrusion processing field
We distribute it into six options. Customization can produce higher value products. Whether it is standard profiles or high-precision customized parts, JEEK can provide you with professional services to make your products more competitive!
Basic machining
Cut, drill, mill and other secondary forming of extruded blanks to achieve dimensional tolerances of mounting holes and assembly surfaces (±0.1mm level accuracy).
Anodizing
Generates a 10-25μm dense oxide film to improve surface hardness (HV≥300) and insulation. It is widely used in anti-corrosion scenarios such as electronic radiators and medical devices.
Spray coating
High weather resistance is achieved through polyester or fluorocarbon coatings, liquid spraying can cover complex curved surfaces, and the primer-topcoat system is used to enhance adhesion and adapt to temperature differences of -40℃~80℃.
Powder coating
Electrostatically adsorb epoxy/polyester powder and cure at high temperature to form a solvent-free, environmentally friendly coating with better chemical corrosion resistance than traditional paints.
Screen printing
The company logo, operating instructions and other graphics are printed on the surface of the profile to facilitate batch traceability and brand display of equipment panels and photovoltaic frames.
